Pusoy is more than a card game here — it's part of Filipino culture. At Jili Asian you can play Pusoy Dos and Chinese Poker against real players, 24 hours a day, from any phone or browser. Tables from ₱10 all the way to high-roller rooms, with payouts direct to your GCash or Maya.
Ask any Filipino who grew up in a household with relatives visiting on weekends and they'll tell you the same story — at some point, the cards came out. Whether it was after a big family meal in Pampanga, a slow afternoon in Iloilo, or a late-night gathering in QC, Pusoy was always on the table. It's one of those games that feels completely natural to Filipino players because it has been part of daily life for generations.
Pusoy Dos — the local variant most Pinoys know and love — is a shedding-type game where the goal is to get rid of all your cards before your opponents do. You play singles, pairs, three-of-a-kinds, and five-card combinations in ascending order. Sounds simple on the surface, but the depth of strategy involved in sequencing your plays, reading your opponents, and timing your power cards makes it genuinely competitive and endlessly replayable.
At Jili Asian, we've brought that same experience online without losing any of the authenticity. Our Pusoy tables are populated with real Filipino players, the interface matches the natural flow of the game, and the stakes range from casual low-limit tables all the way to serious high-roller rooms where experienced players compete for real peso prizes.
Three ways to play — pick the format that suits your style and experience level.
The classic Filipino shedding game. Play singles, pairs, and five-card hands in sequence. First to empty their hand wins.
All 13 cards dealt. Arrange into three hands — front (3 cards), middle (5 cards), back (5 cards). Compare against opponents.
Cards are dealt and placed face-up one at a time. No hidden information — pure strategy and risk management on every draw.
Pusoy Dos is the most-played variant at Jili Asian and the one most Filipino players already know from home games. Each player is dealt 13 cards from a standard 52-card deck. The player holding the 3 of Diamonds leads the first play. Players must beat the previous combination on the table — if you can't or don't want to, you pass. The suit ranking is Diamonds (lowest), Clubs, Hearts, and Spades (highest), with card values running 3 through 2 (with 2 being the highest single card). The first player to shed all 13 cards wins the round and collects from the other players based on the agreed stake.
At Jili Asian, Pusoy Dos tables run at four stake levels — Casual (₱10–₱50), Standard (₱100–₱500), Advanced (₱1,000–₱5,000), and High Roller (₱10,000+). All games are real-money, real-player tables — no bots, no house hand. Pure Pusoy, pure competition.
Five-card combinations from highest to lowest — essential knowledge before you sit down at a table.
| # | Hand Name | Description |

| 4 | Full House | Three of a kind plus a pair in the same hand. |

In Pusoy Dos, the 2 card — particularly the 2 of Spades — is the most powerful single card in the deck. New players often rush to play their 2s early just to feel in control, but experienced players know that holding them until the right moment is what separates consistent winners from everyone else. Your 2s are your emergency override. Use them to kill a dangerous run from another player who looks close to clearing their hand, not just to win a random mid-game exchange.
One of the most underused skills in online Pusoy — both in real-life games and at Jili Asian — is active card counting. You don't need a perfect count. Just tracking roughly how many cards each opponent has left helps you time your plays. If someone is down to their last three or four cards and it's not your lead, you need to be ready to challenge every play they make. Letting them pass unopposed when they're nearly out is how you lose a round you should have controlled.
A common dilemma in Pusoy Dos is whether to use a pair as a unit or split them into singles. The answer depends entirely on what's already been played and what you can read from the board. If low cards are mostly gone and mid-range pairs are dominating the table, keeping your pair intact as a blocking mechanism is usually smarter. But if the table is cycling through singles fast and you need to shed cards quickly, splitting can help you move through your hand at a faster pace.
Playing Pusoy at home has a social element that can't be fully replicated online, but Jili Asian comes closer than most platforms. The interface shows player names, card counts, and action timers that keep the game moving without feeling rushed. The table chat feature lets you interact with opponents, and the fact that everyone is a real Filipino player — not a bot — gives the game the same competitive tension you'd find in any genuine home game.
The key advantage of playing at Jili Asian over home games is the structure. Stakes are clearly defined, payouts are automatic, and there's no awkward moment of "eh, ilan ba ang utang mo?" at the end of the night. Everything is handled by the platform so you can focus entirely on the game itself.
Chinese Poker at Jili Asian plays out very differently from Pusoy Dos. You receive all 13 cards at once and must arrange them into three hands: a 3-card front hand, a 5-card middle hand, and a 5-card back hand. The critical rule is that the back hand must be stronger than or equal to the middle hand, and the middle must be stronger than or equal to the front hand. Misset your hands and you lose all three regardless of what your opponents play.
The depth of Chinese Poker comes from that arrangement decision. With 13 cards dealt, you're immediately doing combinatorics in your head — where do the strongest combinations go, how do you maximise all three hands rather than loading everything into the back, and what are your opponents likely holding based on what you see in your own hand?
Jili Asian's Chinese Poker tables are some of the most active in the Pusoy section, particularly late nights and on weekends when the more serious players tend to log in. The scoring system pays per hand beaten, with bonus units for royalties — premium combinations like three-of-a-kind in the front hand or a straight flush in the back.
Pusoy is a competitive game, and competition can make it easy to stay at the table longer than you planned. Jili Asian provides deposit limit tools, session time reminders, and self-exclusion options that you can activate any time in your account settings. Gaming should always feel like entertainment — the moment it stops feeling fun or starts affecting your finances beyond what you budgeted for, take a break. Our responsible gaming team is available 24/7 if you ever need support.
Watch what your opponents pass on. If they consistently skip five-card combos, they may not have strong hands — use that information.
Don't rush to shed cards in the early game. Building control by taking the lead at the right moment is more valuable than clearing fast.
Pairs of Aces and 2s are your most powerful assets. Don't waste them on non-critical plays — keep them as finishers or emergency blocks.
Set a session budget before you sit down and stick to it. Moving up stake levels before you're ready is the fastest way to drain your balance.
